Ogra cut LNG prices by 9.03%

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a 9.30% reduction in liquefied natural gas (LNG) prices. Ogra has also issued a notification to reduce the prices of LNG from February 1. The notification states that the price of LNG on the Sui Northern system has been reduced by $1.20 per mmbtu and on the Sui Southern system by $1.29 per mmbtu.

According to the notification, the new price of LNG on the Sui Northern system has been set at $12.49 per mmbtu and the new LNG price on the Sui Southern system at $12.96 per mmbtu. The price of LNG was $13.69 per mmbtu on the K system and $14.24 per mmbtu on the Sui Southern system.

It may be recalled that Ogra had earlier cut LNG prices by 7.81% for January as compared to December.
