Islamabad administration’s refusal to allow Tehreek-e-Insaf to protest today

The application for permission to protest by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf in the federal capital Islamabad was rejected. After receiving the request from the district administration, it is said that Section 144 has been implemented in Islamabad, due to which no political party and organization can be allowed to hold a protest or rally in the federal capital.

The Islamabad administration has warned that the citizens should avoid being a part of any political gathering, otherwise the Islamabad police will take strong action against those participating in the protest activity. It should be noted that on behalf of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders, a request was submitted to the DC Islamabad for permission to protest against election rigging today.
